- Unit does not accept first-time travelers.
Job Description
- Work in an outpatient therapy clinic setting.
- Must be comfortable working with children with autism and their families.

Important Notes
- Background checks and verifications are required, including but not limited to:
- Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years.
- Education verification.
- State-specific searches (Washington WSP/WATCH, OBRA Registry for CNAs if applicable).
- Physical exam within 1 year of start required.
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination.
- Varicella vaccination or titer.
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination.
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination.
- Fit mask testing required for travel candidates.
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty within the last 3 years.
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years required.
- Skills checklist required and must be updated annually.
- Completion of Providence-specific WorkRamp training modules prior to start is mandatory.
- EPIC training modules must be completed and transcripts submitted prior to moving to Paid Day Work (PDW) status.
Additional Requirements
- Float policy acknowledgment: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance.
- Medication and competency exams as applicable.
- Respiratory safety clearance required for travel candidates.
- Various certifications may be required depending on specialty and unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPI).
This position is ideal for experienced pediatric outpatient therapists with skills in autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, comfortable with EPIC documentation, and holding required certifications and licenses.
