Travel RN - Critical Care
Location: Washington, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Position Details
- Specialty: Critical Care
- Shift: Nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 shifts of 12 hours)
- Weekend Hours: As needed
- Call Requirements: None
- Number of Openings: 1
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or Missouri temporary work permit
- ACLS certification (or complete within 12 months)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in critical care
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card (or complete within probation period)
Skills & Experience
- Experience with critical care patients including post-stroke care
- Ability to titrate cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol)
- Experience with Bipaps and Airvos devices
- Ability to recognize deteriorating patients
- Experience with ventilated compressors
- Float experience in Med Surg and Tele units preferred
- Medical calculation skills preferred

- Number of Beds: 19
- Patient Ratios: Average 2-3 patients per nurse
- EMR System: EPIC
- Patient Types: Medical, Basic Cardiac, Neurology
Work Environment & Culture

- Dress code: Professional scrubs, black color; no hoodies allowed

- Only Level III Trauma Center between St. Louis and Jefferson City
