Job Opportunity: Technologist in Des Moines, Iowa (Temp)

Position Overview

• Role involves contributing professional nursing knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Requires application and management of care to patients using the nursing process.
• Must be willing to float across multiple campuses within Des Moines to like units.
• Required to work 36-40 hours per week with overtime applicable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving.
• Limit of 1 day off request allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
• Call and on-call responsibilities with associated multipliers and hourly rates.
• Same day clinical interview phone screen expected.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Experience & Skills

• At least 2 years of catheterization (Cath) experience.
• Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently.
• Structural heart experience strongly desired.
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience desired.
• Travel experience required.
• Willingness to take call.
• Willingness to float across campuses if needed (campuses are minutes apart).

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) required.
• ACTIVE ARRT or CCI certification required.
