Job Details

  • Shift: Days, 5 x 8 hour shifts
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
  • Weekend Hours: Every weekend required
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Required Licensure:
    • CT Registry
    • BLS (American Heart Association only)
  • Years of Experience Required: 3 years
  • Float Requirements: As required by facility
  • Equipment: GE CT equipment
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Dress Code: Black scrubs

Job Description

  • Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.
  • Assist radiologists with interventional and special procedures such as biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthrography, and others.
  • Deliver essential patient care during all procedures.
  • Apply radiation safety principles.
  • Organize daily schedule and serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift.
  • Must be able to adapt and work well with multiple people simultaneously.
  • Evening shift orientation occurs on day shift; traveler must be available for the entire orientation week.
  • Flu vaccination (or approved exemption) required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted.

Additional Information

  • No prior travel experience explicitly required.
  • No call required but must be able to be on call if needed.
  • Facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center with nationally recognized certifications and awards.

Summary

This is a 16-week travel CT Tech position in Saint Louis, MO requiring 3 years of CT tech experience, CT Registry, and BLS certification. The role supports inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patient areas with weekend work every week and no call requirements. Flu vaccination compliance is mandatory during flu season. The position involves working with GE equipment and EPIC EMR in a high-acuity hospital setting.
