Job Details

  • Ratios: 1:1 (Days, Nights, Weekends)
  • Daily Census: 20
  • Experience Required: 1 to 2 years
  • First-timers Accepted: Yes
  • Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday/Saturday/Sunday combination)
  • On-call Requirement: Yes (one weekend every six weeks and one night per week)
  • Floating: May be required within scope to meet facility needs
  • Block Schedule: Not accommodated
  • Locals Accepted: No (home address must be at least 75 miles from facility)
  • Pending License Accepted: No
  • Return to Office Restrictions: No more than 7 days
  • Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancelled shifts must be regular shift length)

  • Fingerprinting required for Illinois long-term care or rehab units
  • Education verification required (highest nursing education)
  • State license primary source verification required (Missouri licenses via NURSYS)
  • IV certification required for LPNs/LVNs in Missouri
  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
  • Color blind testing within 12 months of start
  • Unit-specific competency exams required annually
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask (N95) required and must be renewed annually
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or declination required
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray required (2-step PPD or equivalent)
  • Immunizations or immunity documentation required for:

  • Drug testing within 1 year of start, must include specific panels
