Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel/Contract

Location: Rolla, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• RN Circulator role (circulating only)
• Shift: 5 days of 8-hour shifts, 06:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Call shifts: 7-8 call shifts per 8 weeks, including 1 weekend (Friday-Sunday)
• Experience required in General, DaVinci, and Orthopedics
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

Requirements & Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Driver’s License required
• State nursing license verification required prior to start and upon expiration
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA certified, required based on unit/specialty
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified, required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA certified, required for Pediatrics, ED, and PACU
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - required for Pediatrics and OB
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required for ED
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - preferred for ED
• NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS) within 12 months

Background & Verification

• Background check required within 1 year of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• HHS/OIG screening required
• Education verification with highest level of education documentation (diploma, transcript)
• Competency exam required annually

Health & Safety

• N95 Fit Test within 1 year of start (must use 1870+ mask)
• TB screening: PPD, QGold, or T-Spot within 4 months of start; chest x-ray and annual TB questionnaire if positive TB history
• Immunizations:

  • 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or signed declination
  • 2 Varicella vaccines or positive titer
• Drug testing: 9-panel urine drug screen within 3 months of start (marijuana not required)
• Seasonal vaccinations:

  • Flu vaccine or signed declination during flu season (Oct-Apr)
  • COVID seasonal vaccine or declination

Additional Information

• Candidate must sign and review facility-specific job description and policies (e.g., parking policy)
• Orientation checklist to be completed post-start
• Workday login and required modules to be completed on first day

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with circulating experience in general, DaVinci, and orthopedic cases, who are comfortable with call shifts and meet the required certifications and health screenings.
