Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist (Temp)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa

Job Description

Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
General X-rays, portable X-rays, and occasional OR C-arm operation on weekends.
Downtown campus uses Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS.
Local travelers are not accepted; candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility.
Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
Limit of 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of general radiologic technology or multi-modality tech experience.
At least 1 completed travel contract.
Experience with GE, Carestream, or Siemens equipment.

Certifications

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified

Licensure

Must hold a valid Iowa state license.

Submission Requirements

Work history/resume.
Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
License verification.
Copies of required certifications.
One supervisory reference at time of submission.
Proof of taxable address (one of the following):
- Driver’s License
- Current Utility Bill
- Lease/Rental Agreement
- Mortgage Statement/Bill
- Homeowner’s or Renter’s Insurance Statement/Bill
- Voter Registration
- Bank Statement
- Auto Insurance
- Tax Return

Additional Notes

This position offers same-day interviews.
Night and holiday shifts include premium multipliers.
On-call and charge/precept differentials apply.
Billable overtime after 36-40 hours/week depending on shift.

This role is ideal for experienced radiologic technologists seeking a temporary assignment in Iowa with a reputable healthcare system.
