Position Details

• Specialty: CT Technologist (Radiology)

• Shift: Mids, 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week
• Work Schedule:

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
  • Monday: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• On-call Requirement: Yes
• Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
• Locals Accepted: Yes

Experience & Licensure

• Experience Required: 2 years preferred, 1 year considered
• Certifications Required:

  • Washington State Radiology License
  • AART (CT) Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Work Environment

• High volume of inpatient and emergency room patients, plus outpatients
• Equipment: 2 GE CT scanners (64-slice and 16-slice)
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Any (scrubs provided for OR personnel)
• Parking cost: $82/month

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 45 days of start
  • National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW) search
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
  • State-specific WA WATCH search
  • Education verification (if applicable)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA only)
  • Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP)
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency (for RNs/LPNs)
  • Color Blind Testing
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency (if applicable)
  • Conscious Sedation (if applicable)
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask test within 12 months (specific mask types preferred)
  • Immunizations and titers: TDAP, TB screening, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Drug screening (10-panel) within 1 year
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption/declination
  • COVID vaccination or declination for tracking
• Facility Specific:

  • Photo for badge (DMV style, no selfies)
  • Various agreements and checklists prior to start
  • EPIC integration video and attestation for RNs
  • Parking contract signed prior to start

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and background checks prior to start.
• On-site fit testing is available only as a last resort and requires prior approval.
• Candidates with facial hair must shave prior to fit testing.
• Flu vaccination documentation or exemption is required during flu season.
• The facility uses EPIC for charting and requires completion of an EPIC integration video and attestation.
