Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Position Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 07:00-17:30, Monday-Friday
• On-Call: Rotating 2 weekdays per week and every 3rd weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP (approximately 2 weeks from offer for compliance)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty
• Must have prior travel experience (no first-timers accepted)
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • ARRT (R) certification
• Must have license in hand (pending licenses accepted)

Compliance & Credentialing Requirements

Background Checks

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches for all locations lived/worked/schooled, nationwide sex offender check
• Wisconsin Caregiver Screening required

Certifications

• ACLS and BLS (ARC or AHA accepted)
• PALS and NRP as applicable
• NIH Stroke Certification required for ICU, IMC/IMCU, inpatient, Med Surg, Step Down RN roles (renewed annually)

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Color Blind Testing for dialysis/kidney center roles
• Competency exams as applicable to specialty

Facility Specific Documents

• Photo for badge (passport style, no filters)
• Compliance checklist to be completed by agency representative
• Confidentiality statement signed prior to start
• Flu vaccine exemption forms if applicable
• Dosimeter request form for Imaging Department (not required for MRI Tech)

Health Documents

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually for non-clinical)
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (no TSpot/PPD accepted) or chest X-ray within 60 days
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days of start (instant acceptable)
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)

History & References

• Two professional references verified within 2 years of start
• For inpatient RNs (MS, MS/TELE, IMC, Stepdown, ICU): one reference must be from most recent acute care assignment with performance comments
• Skills checklist required annually
