Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Position Details

• Role: CT Technologist
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts

  • 07:00 - 19:30
  • 08:30 - 21:00
  • 10:30 - 23:00
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• On-call: Not required
• Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
• Block Schedule Accommodation: Not available
• Locals Accepted: Yes, must live in the same Baltimore region
• Pending State License: Accepted
• Return to Office Restrictions: 1 request allowed
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC required

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Licensing

• Maryland state license or compact state license accepted
• Compact license holders must provide proof of state residency (driver’s license matching compact license state)

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check (including SS trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender, FACIS level 3) within one year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required annually
• Maryland CJIS/DSS/FBI fingerprinting required for school placements only (candidate must be in Maryland for fingerprinting)

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (valid throughout assignment unless gap >30 days)
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (specific approved mask types)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (True 2-Step PPD with timing requirements)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted) for 2025-26 season
• COVID-19 vaccination highly encouraged but not required (must provide state immunization registry proof, CDC cards not accepted)

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable

This position offers a structured rotating shift schedule with guaranteed hours and supports first-time travelers. Compliance with all licensing, certification, background, and health requirements is mandatory.
