Description

CT Technologist - Boise, Idaho

Job Overview

  • Position: CT Technologist
  • Location: Boise, Idaho (Boise main campus only)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shifts: Assigned shifts, no blocked requests
    • Current need: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM; Monday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
    • Weekend and holiday work required as scheduled
    • Weekend shifts are 4-10 hour shifts; Friday through Monday 10 AM - 8:30 PM
  • Call: Available if agreed upon

Requirements

  • Certifications:
    • ARRT (CT) Certified
    • BLS Certified
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of CT experience
    • Siemens scanner experience preferred
    • Prior travel experience preferred but not required
  • Skills:
    • Good patient care skills
    • Procedural experience (biopsies, drains, ablations)
    • Ability to start IVs

Equipment & Technology

  • Scanners: Siemens Drive, Siemens Force, Cannon Prime SP (Cannon experience not required)
  • Software: EPIC and McKesson experience preferred but not required

Work Environment

  • Average scans per 10-hour shift: 3 to 40 (varied CT scans including pediatrics, cardiac, and procedures)
  • Radiology team includes a lead tech and supervisor during weekday day shifts
  • Radiologist available in-house
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs); a CNA assists in the department
  • Scrubs: Blue scrubs provided

This position is ideal for CT technologists with ARRT certification and experience on Siemens scanners who are comfortable working varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
