Travel Med Surg RN - Kirksville, Missouri

Job Description

Provide care in Medical-Surgical and Step-Down (PCU) units.
Floating occasionally required to assist in critical care with low acuity patients.
Must be comfortable managing a mix of med-surg and step-down patients during shifts.
Patient ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity.
21 beds in the unit.
Required to work 1 major holiday (season dependent).

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred: 1 year experience in PCU/Stepdown and Med Surg.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
EMR system used: MedHost.
Scrub color: Any dark solid color.

Additional Information

48-hour weekly guarantees may be requested.
Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated.
