Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide direct care to patients with mental health conditions
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
Administer medications
Provide therapeutic communication and crisis intervention
Monitor patient well-being
Educate patients and families
Maintain accurate records
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment for recovery

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 6 months in Children’s Behavioral Health (required)
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) required prior to start
- Handle with Care Certification (preferred)
Age: Must be 21 years or older
Licensure: Active Oklahoma RN license required at time of submission
Additional: Facility prefers local candidates (within 50 miles) and may consider them at a reduced rate

Notes

No increased rate for OT, Holiday, or Call-Back
On-call pay applies with minimums
Non-compete policy: Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ends
