MRI Technologist - Mullica Hill, New Jersey

Job Overview

• Specialty: MRI
• Location: Mullica Hill, NJ
• Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 3 days per week
  • Call twice a week
  • Every other weekend coverage

Responsibilities

• Produce MRI images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician or practitioner.
• Serve patient populations including cardiac/cardiovascular, mammary, GI, endocrine, renal, skeletal conditions, and diseases such as CAD, PVD, CVA/TIA, COPD, CHF, Oncology, etc.
• Follow established practices and procedures for MRI imaging.

Requirements

• Certifications/Licenses:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience.
• Knowledge of proper examination sequencing and preparation for patients of all ages (neonate, pediatric, adult, geriatric).
• Uniform: Black scrubs.
• EMR system used: Cerner.

Orientation & Onboarding

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination.
• Orientation includes:

  • Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules (to be completed by Monday of start week).
  • In-person classes typically held Tuesday through Thursday at various locations (location details provided via HealthStream).
  • POCT class attendance required (not during orientation week).
  • Unit-based orientation scheduled by manager.
  • Badge ID appointment must be completed during orientation (photo submissions not accepted). Badge required for clock-ins.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
