Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (IR RN) - Roanoke, Virginia

Position Details

  • 30 minutes call back time
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work or take call one holiday per 13-week contract (rotational basis)

Required Experience & Skills

Patient Population & Unit Details

• Position is within inpatient/outpatient Interventional Radiology department
• Department includes:

  • 4 angiography suites (two single-plane, two biplane)
  • 1 dedicated CT scanner
  • 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management
  • Advanced imaging technologies
• Focus on minimally invasive procedures for vascular, neuro, and oncologic conditions
• Provides outpatient and inpatient care emphasizing precision and reduced recovery times

Additional Requirements & Notes

• Call off policy: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must submit all requests with application
• Background checks and verifications required (7-year background check, education verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
• Various health documents required including physical exam, fit mask test, TB testing, immunizations (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella), and drug screening
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests required as applicable
• Photo for badge and compliance paperwork required prior to start
• Orientation manual review required prior to start (not required for inpatient RNs)
• Must complete fit testing regardless of prior fit on file (except for students)
• References: 2 clinical references required
