Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Tech)
- Shift: 4x10 hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call: Not required

Required Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- State License: Washington D.C. license only, primary source verification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as required
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit (refer to job specifics)
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Proof of I9 or Attestation
- Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- E-Verify or Attestation
- Background Check: 7-year criminal history, social security trace, sex offender, FACIS Level 3, education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
- Education Verification through primary source
- Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
- Physical Exam: Initial and annual, must meet physical demands of position
- Fit Mask Testing: Within one year of start, updated annually
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (vaccine or titer, declination accepted with form)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (titer or 2 vaccines, booster if low titer)
- Hepatitis B (vaccine, titer, or declination form)
- Varicella (titer or 2 vaccines, booster if low titer)
- Flu Vaccine (required annually, exemptions accepted with approval)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Fully vaccinated required by DC mandate (booster preferred, no exemptions accepted)
- Additional Health Documents: CBC and Biochem Panel required for Radiology unit prior to start
- Eye Exam including vision acuity
- Color Blind Exam (mandatory, online exam not accepted)
Additional Notes
- Parking is the responsibility of the clinician; public transportation is accessible
- Candidates must complete facility-specific forms such as position description acknowledgement and various health and compliance forms prior to start
- References: Proof of 2 clinical references required
- Employment Application: Must include licensure, certifications, education, and employment history
This position is suitable for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology CT Tech roles, who hold ARRT certification and meet the licensing and compliance requirements for Washington D.C. Travel experience is not required, and first-time travelers are welcome. The role offers a 4x10 shift schedule with every other weekend required.
