Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN for Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have:

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• CPR certification

The role may require floating to other inpatient units based on census. Scheduling includes rotation between weekday and weekend shifts, with one day shift per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state laws/practice act.
• Document care according to standards.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including patient and family instruction.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• CPR certification
