Job Summary: Therapy/Rehabilitation Travel Contract in Seattle, Washington

Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Workload: Approximately 8 patient visits per day, 8 rooms available

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements (Summary)

  • Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, updated annually.
  • Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start.
  • Immunizations and health documents including:
    • Physical exam within 1 year
    • TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
    • Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
    • COVID vaccine or declination
  • Fit mask testing (N95 or equivalent) required for travel candidates.
  • References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
  • Employment application covering at least last 5 years.
  • Skills checklist updated annually.
  • Completion of required WorkRamp training modules prior to start (specific to Providence Health and Services system and specialty).
  • EPIC training modules must be completed and transcripts submitted prior to moving to Paid Day Work status.

Additional Requirements

  • Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance.
  • Must be proficient in documentation and billing requirements specific to Medicaid and SLP evaluation coding.
  • Must be able to recognize and manage patient safety concerns related to abuse.
  • Must have experience with alternative and augmentative communication devices.

This position is ideal for experienced pediatric speech-language pathologists with prior travel contract experience who are comfortable working with children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders in an outpatient setting using EPIC documentation.
