Registered Nurse (Med/Surg/Tele) - Travel/Contract

Location: Southbridge, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Med/Surg/Tele)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekends: Every third weekend
• Patient Ratios: 6 to 7 patients per RN during night shift
• Start Date: ASAP (pending medical clearance)
• EMR System: EPIC experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Massachusetts RN License (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) optional but recommended
• Other certifications (PALS, NIH Stroke Certification) may be relevant depending on unit

Experience Requirements

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background checks including:

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within past year (3M 1860 Regular or Small)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity proof or vaccination
  • Varicella immunity proof or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity proof or vaccination
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within past 10 years
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (including Marijuana/THC)
• Seasonal vaccinations or declinations required:

  • Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination
  • COVID vaccine or facility-specific declination (no medical exemptions accepted)

Competency Requirements

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
