Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday to Friday
- 4 days of call per month
Experience & Certification Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT CT certification required
- Experience with both CT and X-ray required
Job Description
- Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician
- Provide CT care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation
- Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
- Provide diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy

- No floating required
- 48-hour grace hours are NOT approved
- Blocked schedule is NOT approved
