Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience (highest requirement)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Schedule: Variable schedule with shifts between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Schedule is released 4 weeks at a time and does not flip shifts within the same week. Flexibility between day and night shifts is needed.
• Floating: May float to IMCU (stepdown unit) if needed
• Skills: Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills required
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Wisconsin or Compact RN License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Certification

Requirements

• References:

  • 2 professional references within 1 year, including one from the most recent/current assignment
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender check
• Health & Compliance:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days)
  • Immunizations or positive titers for:

    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)
• Competencies:

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Color blind testing if working in dialysis/kidney center (not specified for this role)
  • Annual skills checklist

Additional Notes

• Candidate must have all required certifications and documentation at time of submission.
• Flu vaccine exemptions require completion of facility-specific exemption forms.
