Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Oncology) - Wisconsin, Pleasant Prairie

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• License Requirement: Wisconsin or Compact Nursing License
• Experience Required: Previous Oncology Clinic experience
• Prior Travel Experience: Required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
• Locals Accepted: Yes, but at a lower rate

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as required
• Other certifications as applicable to specialty and profession

Background Checks & Screening

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender check
• Wisconsin Caregiver Screening (state-specific search)

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days)
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days before start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)
• Flu vaccine exemption forms must be completed if applicable

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references verified within 2 years of start (for inpatient RNs, one must be from most recent acute care assignment)
• Annual skills checklist per agency standards
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Color blind testing if working in dialysis/kidney center (not specified for this role)
• Competency exams as applicable to specialty
• Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
• Confidentiality statement signed prior to start

• Candidates requesting flu vaccine exemptions must complete facility-specific exemption forms.
