Position Details

Skillset Requirements
- General: PACS, Portables, Contrast
- CT Procedures: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, Myelography, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction
- X-Ray Procedures: Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower & Upper Extremities
- 2 Patient Rooms
Unit Information
Busy critical access hospital servicing:
- Emergency Department (ED)
- ICU
- Med/Surgical
- Walk-in Clinic
- Outpatient Scheduled Testing
Certification Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
- ARRT R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) - Required
- Advanced ARRT - Preferred
Experience Requirements
- Specialty Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; default to standard expectations for Radiology/Cardiology travel roles (typically 1-2 years minimum)

Required Documentation & Compliance
- Valid Driver’s License or Passport (clear copy)
- Background Checks:
- Must include 7 years of residence/work history
- SSN Trace, County Criminal, Statewide, National Sex Offender, FACIS Level III
- Education Verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Transcript/Diploma: Official copies required (may be pending at start)
- Education Verification: Completed by 3rd party (may be pending at start)
- State License Verification: Online verification within 30 days of start
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (not required for Techs or RRTs)
- Color Blind Testing (Ishihara exam or equivalent)
- Unit Competency Exam
- Physical Exam: Completed within 12 months of start
- Fit Mask Test: Within 12 months of start, with approved respirators
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred but not required)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required, no declinations accepted
- Hepatitis B: Series, titer, or signed declination required
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required, no declinations accepted
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination or approved exemption required for flu season
- Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months
- References: Minimum 2 from recent employment, verified within 2 years, must be from charge/manager/supervisor or above
- Employment Application: Current with full work history and explanations for gaps over 30 days
- Skills Checklist: Required within 12 months and annually
- TB Questionnaire: Required and must be updated annually
Additional Notes
- HIPAA Acknowledgement required
- Facility-specific compliance and orientation documents must be completed as a priority
- On-site Fit Testing available only as a last resort with limitations
- PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) available on-site but requires prior facility approval
