Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts)
Work Schedule: Float between campuses as needed

Requirements

Specialty: Operating Room Nurse (RN)
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years with strength in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
Additional Skills:
- Cerner experience required
- CNOR certification preferred
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Job Description

Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care in the OR
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other staff to provide care according to regulatory standards and hospital policies
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring supplies and timeliness of cases
- Communicating with families
- Updating physician preference cards
- Scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases
- Supervising personnel delivering patient care

Additional Notes

Must be able to float between multiple campuses as needed
Experience with Cerner EMR system required
