Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Attleboro, Massachusetts
Specialty: Registered Nurse (Float Pool MS/Tele)
Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Job Requirements

  • Must have cardiac experience

Competencies

Background and Compliance Checks

  • MA Statewide CORI Release (iCORI) – Must be completed ASAP
  • Standard background check within 1 year, including 7-year county searches, SS trace, nationwide, sex offender registry
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks – Required
  • Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search – Required for all travelers in MA

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • Physical Exam: Within 1 year prior to start
  • N95 Fit Test: Within last 6 months for specified masks; onsite fit testing may be allowed case-by-case
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap: Proof of one Tdap after age 18, then Td every 10 years
  • TB Testing: 2-step PPD or equivalent within required timeframes; chest x-ray and annual questionnaire if positive history
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Immune titer or 2 vaccines with boosters if needed; no declinations accepted
  • Hepatitis B: Immune titer with numerical value or signed declination accepted; boosters required if titer negative/equivocal
  • Varicella: Immune titer or 2 vaccines with boosters if needed; no declinations accepted
  • Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start; minimum 9-panel required (instant acceptable); marijuana testing not required
  • Hepatitis A: Required for food service workers only
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (September - April); medical exemptions allowed with documentation; no declinations accepted
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required; exemptions only for medical or religious reasons with signed documentation; no declinations accepted

Facility Specific Documents

  • Badge photo (passport style, head and shoulders, plain background) required 2 weeks prior to start
  • Compliance checklist, latex allergy questionnaire, personal information forms required prior to start
  • COVID-19 exemption forms required if applicable

References

  • 2 professional references required for travel, allied, and per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)

  • Facility does not allow pending background checks; all must be completed before clearance
  • Facility requires annual TB testing only for ICU and ER units; others have extended expiration dates
