Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Rolla, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Float pool position, working all units except ICU, ED, and OB
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification
• Must have current Missouri RN license

Required Certifications & Training

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA certified, required based on unit/specialty
• NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS Certification within 12 months)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for Pediatrics, ED, and PACU
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for Pediatrics and OB
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required for ED
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - preferred for ED
• State License Verification prior to start and upon expiration
• Annual competency exam required

• Specialty: Registered Nurse

Background & Health Requirements

• Background check within 1 year covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, updated annually
• HHS/OIG clearance required
• Education verification (diploma or transcript) required
• Drug testing: 9-panel urine drug screen within 3 months of start (marijuana not required)
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • TB test (PPD, QGold, or T-Spot within 4 months) or chest x-ray for positive TB
  • TB questionnaire for positive TB
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or signed declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination (required during flu season, Oct-Apr)
  • Seasonal COVID vaccine or declination
• N95 Fit Test (Fit Mask) required within 1 year of start (must use 1870+ mask)

Additional Information

• Candidate must sign job description and review parking policy
• Orientation checklist and facility-specific modules to be completed on first day
• Performance evaluation required annually and most recent evaluation must be provided
• State-specific checks required for Missouri, including FCSR results, EDL search results (updated quarterly), CNA registry check (for Home Health & Hospice), and sex offender registry search
