Job Opportunity: Travel Med Surg RN

Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), Every Other Week (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Requirements

Specialty: Med Surg RN
Years of Experience: 2+ years Med Surg experience required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Unit Size: 30 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Scope of Role:
- EKG
- IV insertion
- Medication administration
- Foley catheter insertion
- Vital signs monitoring
- Assessment documentation
- Assisting with Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI)
- Conducting point-of-care testing (blood glucose)
Floating: Will follow floating requirements as needed
EMR System: Cerner
Scrub Color: Navy blue
Scheduling Notes:
- 48-hour guarantees are NOT available
- Blocked scheduling may be requested
