Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (IR RT (R) / RCIS Scrub Tech w/ LVO)

Location: Mansfield, Texas

• 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Rotating day off

Experience Requirements

Certifications Required

• NIH Stroke Certification – Required for IR and Cath Lab

Competency Exams

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Must score 80% or higher; two attempts allowed
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam: Required for Cath Lab Techs; two attempts allowed

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check including county criminal search for all locations lived/worked in last 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
• Drug testing: 10-panel required within 30 days of start (no rapid screens)

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation, updated annually
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination required
• Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months; annual updates required
• Immunity or vaccination documentation for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series and positive titer or signed declination form)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

Documentation Required

• Valid government-issued photo ID or passport
• I9 or attestation
• E-Verify or attestation
• Photo for badge (passport style)
• Signed job description prior to start
• Facility-specific forms including Hepatitis B declination if applicable

References

• Two professional references within the last 3 years required
