Job Details

• Part-time position, approximately 22.5 hours per week
• 100% in-person work

Required Credentials and Licenses

• Must have CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Colorado State SLP license required
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certificate required; candidates may start with pending CDE certificate

Experience Requirements

Certifications and Compliance Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required for RNs and LVNs (if applicable)

• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update required)
• Educational Services - Mandatory Reporter training required (annual renewal)
• Colorado-specific requirements including fingerprinting and background checks as per state regulations
• FERPA training and acknowledgment required (annual update)

Background Checks and Documentation

• Criminal background check within 1 year of start and updated annually, including multiple levels of checks (SS Trace, Federal, Nationwide, County, Sex Offender Search) for the last 7 years of residency/work/school
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required annually
• Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and FBI fingerprint results required
• CO CAPS Release Authorization form required prior to background check
• Temporary Educator Eligibility (TEE) verification may be required if candidate does not qualify for Professional Teaching License or Special Services Provider license (SSP)

Health and Other Requirements

• Physical exam, TB testing, immunizations (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella), drug testing, and flu vaccination are only required if specified by the client or state; not routinely required by the agency
• References and employment application may be required if requested by client
