Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Annapolis, Maryland

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Minimum 2 years current and strong CT Tech experience
- Must be CT Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Must hold a valid Maryland Radiology Technologist State License (Radiographer)
- Must be BLS certified (Basic Life Support)
- Work schedule: Every Other Week (EOW)
- Equipment used: Toshiba and PACS
- Work areas: ICU and Emergency Department (ED)
Required Certifications
- RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) registration in CT
- Maryland Radiology Technologist State License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required for all units except Pharmacy)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required for ICU, NCU, ED, Heart & Vascular, Observation, PCU/Telemetry, and Float units (not required for Labor & Delivery)
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit (PALS, NRP, CHEMO preferred for Oncology)
Compliance & Background Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within the past year, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test with N95 mask within past 12 months (on-site PAPR training available if approved)
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years or positive titer with medical exemption
- Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot) within past 12 months; chest X-ray if positive TB history
- Completion of TB questionnaire prior to start, updated annually
- MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer required
- Hepatitis B series, positive titer, or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer required
- Negative 9-panel drug screen (excluding marijuana) within 30 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
Additional Requirements
- References from 2 supervisors or above within 2 years of start (charge person references accepted temporarily with conditions)
- Complete employment application/resume
- Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
- Color vision testing within 12 months of start
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required for RNs (if applicable)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required for most units except Cath Lab, OR, Mother Baby Unit, and L&D
Summary
This is a travel contract position for a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT CT registration, Maryland licensure, and BLS certification. The role involves working primarily in ICU and ED settings using Toshiba and PACS equipment. Multiple certifications and health screenings are required to comply with facility and regulatory standards. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks.
