Job Opportunity: Temp Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Days)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views as requested by Physician.
• Complete all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Operate radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment, including mobile units in operating room, emergency room, or bedside.
• Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Operate film processing equipment.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills required.

Dress Code:

• Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs.
• No hooded sweatshirts.
• Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or clogs).
• Hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length.
• No dangling earrings.

Time Off Requests:

• Requested time off must be noted and verified at profile upload.
• No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted; fewer days preferred.
• Time off requests after submission will not be approved and may lead to offer rescindment.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years current CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Skills:

  • Proficient/highly experienced with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm.
  • Experience with all age groups required.
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (or equivalent state license for CT).
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Other:

  • Traveler must have their own vehicle.
  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
  • Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
