Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Omak, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty (CT and X-Ray experience required)
• Licensure: Must have a valid license at time of submittal
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

• Level IV Trauma Center
• Average daily census: 10 patients

Certifications & Competencies Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required
• State License Primary Source Verification
• NURSYS Verification (for RNs)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exams relevant to profession/specialty
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

Background & Health Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Education verification upon request
• Washington State Patrol Search (WSP/WATCH) within 12 months prior to start
• Physical exam within last 12 months (not required annually)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination documentation (for flu season Oct 1 - Mar 31) or declination
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (booster not required)

Documentation & History

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government issued photo ID required during hours of service
• Residency Declaration Form if working on a compact license
• References:

  • 2 professional references within 2 years for Travel positions
• Performance evaluations if worked over 1 year with the agency
• Employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually (if applicable)
• Internal evaluation if worked over 2 years with the agency
