Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Details
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- On-call: Not required
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Intermediate
Certifications must be current and cannot expire within 30 days of start date.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Proof of I9 or attestation
- Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- E-Verify or attestation
- Background Check: 7-year criminal history, nationwide, sex offender, FACIS Level 3, education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
- Education verification from primary source required
- State License Verification: Washington D.C. license only, primary source verified
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- Competency exams as applicable (medication/pharmacology, core parts)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
- Physical Exam: Initial and annual, must meet physical demands of position
- Fit Mask Testing: Annual fit testing required
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (vaccine or declination form)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (titer or 2 vaccines, booster if needed)
- Hepatitis B (vaccine, titer, or declination form)
- Varicella (titer or 2 vaccines, booster if needed)
- Flu Vaccine: Required for all candidates; religious and medical exemptions accepted with approval
- Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
- References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
- Employment Application: Complete with licensure, certifications, education, and employment history
Additional Notes
- Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
- Floating within scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per DC mandate (no exemptions accepted)
