Job Description

• Position: Stepdown RN for evening shifts
• Schedule: 7pm - 7am, 3 days per week
• Requirement: One weekend shift per month

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• NIHSS
• Nursys license verification
• Primary source verification of professional license/certification (updated within 30 days of start)
• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport

Required Exams & Testing

• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80%)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Skills Checklist

Health & Immunization Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 doses plus booster or completed declination
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer
• Influenza Vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
• TB Test within 1 year of start date
• Varicella vaccination or titer showing immunity
• Tdap (declinations not accepted in some states)
• Annual Respirator Fit Test (must be completed prior to start if onsite testing not available)
• Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed annually and state clearance to work

Background & Compliance

• National Criminal Background Check within 1 year of start date (some state-specific exceptions)
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check
• Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
• Prime Orientation Packet (includes Essentials Form and Post Test)
• Prime Education Verification (copy of diploma or transcripts accepted if third-party verification unavailable)

Additional Requirements

• Resume: Must be up to date and reflect recent work history at time of offer acceptance
• References: Two required, including one from a manager or direct supervisor
• Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start
• Prime Color-blind test (annual)
