Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Details
- Start Dates: 2/2, 2/16
- Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
- Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5, with potential for 1:6-7
- Weekend Requirement: Yes; 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Pending License: Not accepted
- Time Off (RTO) Restrictions: No holiday RTO; max 5 total days off in 13-week assignment. No additional RTO after submission or while working. No RTO approved the day before, day of, or day after a holiday.
Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 4 years in a hospital setting (based on highest requirement found)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required if over 4 years of experience
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted; RQI accepted)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted; RQI accepted)
- NIH Stroke Certification: Preferred (required for Med Surg, ER, ICU; must be updated annually)
- Additional Preferred: Basic dysrhythmia training (self-rating 3 or above)
- Other Certifications: PALS, NRP, EFM may be required depending on unit (not specified for this role)
Special Requirements
- Cardiac knowledge with self-rating of 3 or above
- Ability to care for patients with mental health diagnoses
- Must complete unit-specific competency exam
- Must complete facility-required modules prior to start

- Trauma Level: Level 3 Trauma Center
- Beds: 171 staffed beds
- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Free
- Attendance Policy: Zero-fault attendance policy; missed shifts count as unexcused regardless of reason. Two missed shifts result in a warning; three or more may result in cancellation. Applies on a rolling calendar year.
Compliance and Onboarding Requirements
- Background check with 7-year criminal search required within 30 days of start
- Copy of diploma or transcript required (cannot be pending)
- Education verification required if transcript/diploma unavailable
- Physical exam within 1 year stating "cleared to work" with physician signature
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years if past positive)
- Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Drug test (10-panel) within 30 days of start with negative results
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - May 1)
- Two professional references required prior to start
- Work history verification for last 3 years (attestations acceptable; can be pending at start)
- Annual skills checklist and performance evaluation or references if applicable
- Badge photo with specific requirements (plain white background, no filters)
- Completion of facility-specific modules and training prior to start
Additional Notes
- No on-call requirement
- Must commit to compliance lab within 48-72 hours of signing
- Must adhere to strict attendance and time-off policies
- Facility may care for patients with mental health diagnoses across all units
