Job Opportunity: Medical Unit Nurse (Nights)

Position Overview

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) on the Medical Unit. The role requires working every other weekend and holidays with 12-hour shifts. Travel RNs may be required to float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Flu vaccination required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year nursing experience (default assumption based on typical requirements; no conflicting data provided)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, and state laws
• Document care in compliance with standards
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans, including patient and family education
• Participate in department/unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patient care across units
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately

Work Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
