Job Details

• Floating: May float to Willowcrest Infusion Center
• First-time travelers accepted
• Scrubs: Navy or blue scrubs required
• Charting system: Cerner
• No holiday, weekend, or on-call requirements

Licensure & Certifications Required

• PA or Compact nursing license required in hand
• ONS/ONCC certification required (can be obtained prior to start)
• Chemo certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred

Experience Requirements

• Years of Specialty Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 1 year typical for oncology RNs
• Prior travel experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• PA-specific requirements: Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint Results (must be current)
• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start (3M 1870+ model required)
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (current)
  • Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days) or chest X-ray if positive
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Drug screening: 10 panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; exemptions require mask use at work

Orientation & Training

• Facility-specific modules assigned and must be completed prior to orientation (approx. 6 hours)
• Pass/fail dysrhythmia exam required during orientation (one attempt only)
• Medication and competency exams as applicable
• Signed acknowledgements for safety manual and pass/fail testing required

Additional Notes

• Must have all required documentation and clearances prior to start
• Facility will not allow candidates to start with pending background or fingerprint results
• No holiday, weekend, or on-call shifts required for this assignment
