Location: Princeton, West Virginia
Specialty: CT

Requirements
- Certifications:
- BLS Certification (required)
- West Virginia state license (required)
- ARRT CT board certification preferred
- Experience:
- Prior CT experience required (years not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with board certification)
- Venipuncture skills required
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required
Job Details
- Work Environment:
- Department has 2 CT scanners (2018 Siemens Edge, 128 slices)
- No floating to other areas; CT only
- Busy imaging section with 50-60 scans per day
- Common Imaging Studies:
- CT brain, abdomen/pelvis, chest angio, spines, stroke protocols, trauma, extremities, interventional
- Technology:
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- PACS: GE Centricity
- IV Start: Yes, must be able to start IVs
- Shifts & Scheduling:
- Weekdays: typically 8-hour shifts
- Evenings, nights, weekends: 12, 14, and 16-hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday work possible depending on need
- Call/standby possible with 30-minute response time
- Orientation:
- 3-day orientation (including HR)
- Must be flexible to cover X-ray during 3rd shift when rotating on nights
Additional Information
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency (not provided by facility)
- Must submit a copy of an unexpired driver’s license
- Scrubs: Any color; green scrubs provided for staff working with COVID patients
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on staff
- Radiologist coverage includes 7 employed radiologists and after-hours Nighthawk service
- 100 mile radius rule applies for candidate submissions
