Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation dates available starting from February through November 2026.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience required.
• Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel contract required.
• Certifications:

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
  • Experience with epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine required.
• Additional Documentation Required:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Work history/resume.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
  • License verification.
  • Copies of required certifications.
  • One supervisory reference at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate adjustment).
