Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation dates available starting from February through November 2026.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience required.
- Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel contract required.
- Certifications:
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
- Experience with epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine required.
- Additional Documentation Required:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification.
- Copies of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate adjustment).
Compensation & Benefits Highlights
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
- Additional pay for charge/precepting roles.
This position is ideal for experienced NICU RNs with prior travel contract experience looking for a temporary assignment in Madison, WI.
