Job Opportunity: Pediatric Infusion Registered Nurse
Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Position Details
- Specialty: Pediatric Oncology - Infusion RN
- Start Date: November 3, 2025
- Shift: 4x10-hour shifts (07:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 patients per shift
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years (highest requirement)
- First-time Travelers: Accepted, but preference given to those with travel experience
- Weekend Requirement: No
- On-call: No
- Floating: No
- Block Scheduling: Accommodations possible as able
- Locals Accepted: Yes, no mileage radius restrictions
- Pending License: Not accepted
Required Certifications
- Massachusetts RN License (required)
- ACLS (AHA preferred)
- BLS (AHA preferred)
- PALS (preferred)
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider (preferred)
Experience & Skills
- Teaching hospital experience required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Chemotherapy administration experience preferred
Work Environment
- Busy clinic serving 75-90 patients daily
- Approximately 30-40 patients require infusion therapy (chemotherapy, blood products, IVIG, hydration, antibiotics)
- Procedure suite available 3-4 days per week with anesthesiologist support

Background & Health Requirements
- Criminal background check (7-year search) required; no starts with pending background checks
- Education verification required
- Massachusetts statewide iCORI clearance required within 72 hours of signing
- Physical exam within 1 year of start required
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray per facility protocol
- Immunizations required: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (immune titer or signed declination)
- Flu vaccine mandatory for flu season (Oct-Mar) with strict deadlines; no declinations accepted except approved medical or religious exemptions
- Drug screening: 10-panel required on file within one year of start (not required by facility but required for clearance)
Additional Requirements
- At least 2 positive employment references
- Verification of 2 most recent employers or assignments
- Completion of facility-specific health questionnaires and agreements prior to start
- Must complete required facility documents including confidentiality and intellectual property agreements within specified timeframes
Prior Travel Experience
- Not explicitly required, but preference given to candidates with travel experience
