Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland

Position Details

• Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• On-Call Requirement: Yes

  • 9-13 days of call in a 6-week period
  • Call hours: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM weekdays, 5:30 PM Friday – 7:00 AM Monday on weekends (rotational)
• Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• First-timers: Not accepted (prior experience required)

Experience & Certifications

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years (Cath Lab/IR Tech experience)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RCIS with IR Tech experience

Special Requirements

• Strong, experienced Cath Lab Tech/IR experience mandatory

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Copy of Driver’s License/State ID (must match state of license if using compact license)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, SS trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender, and FACIS level 3
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (specific mask types preferred)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with specific requirements for PPD tests)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (positive titer or vaccines)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year
• Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references required
• Skills checklist and performance evaluations as applicable

Additional Notes

• Pending state license not accepted
• One request allowed for return to office (RTO) restrictions
• Local candidates accepted but at a reduced rate (not relevant for pay details here)
