Job Opportunity: Radiology Technologist (X-Ray)

Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform X-rays as requested by physicians to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
• Follow physicians' instructions closely.
• Prepare radiograph equipment and position patients correctly.
• Accurately capture diagnostic images for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations.
• Demonstrate professionalism aligned with the facility’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology Technologist (X-Ray)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (based on highest requirement)
• Prior Travel Experience: Required (minimum 1 year travel experience)
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC – Required
• Experience working with newborn, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients – Required
• Must provide:

  • Work history relevant to specialty
  • Skills checklist current within 1 year
  • Two supervisory references with employment dates
• MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing roles
• Must comply with strict onboarding deadlines

Additional Information

• EMR system used: Epic
• Hospital provides scrubs as dress code
• Nonbillable hours: 4 hours
• Local travel policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility
• Prior work history with the health system must be listed on resume
