Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Job Description

• Must submit Return to Office (RTO) documentation at time of submission; late submissions not accepted.
• Required to float within 5 hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL).
• Block scheduling is NOT allowed.
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract (only 2 attempts allowed, must be taken on a PC, not iOS devices). Failure to pass results in contract cancellation and denial of rehire.

Requirements

• License: Active New Jersey RN license required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required.
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Circulate and scrub for C-section experience required.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Experience working with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio; may be assigned to higher volume facilities.
• First-time travelers accepted but not preferred.
• Must work every other weekend (EOW).
• Required to work 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday during the contract.
• Scrubs provided by the hospital.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Certifications & Compliance

• Must maintain valid ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications with at least 30 days remaining before contract start.
• Required to complete orientation safety manual acknowledgment.
• Must complete medication/pharmacology competency exams as applicable.
• Required to pass facility-specific pass/fail testing including the Dysrhythmia Challenge.
• Required health documents include:

  • Physical exam within last 12 months
  • Fit mask test (completed onsite during orientation)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Required immunizations or positive titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Drug screening (10 panel, excluding THC, within 6 months)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (deadline October 31)
  • Eye exam with visual acuity 20/40 or better
  • Latex questionnaire

Additional Requirements

• Must provide proof of I9 or attestation, government-issued photo ID, and E-Verify documentation.
• Background checks required: 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG.
• NURSYS verification required for RN licensure.
• References: 2 professional references within last 2 years required.
• Employment application and skills checklist must be completed and updated annually.
• Work history verification required for New Jersey candidates (minimum 1 year prior to start date, allowing 30-day gaps or less).

Scheduling & Work Conditions

• Floating between multiple hospital locations within the system may be required.
• No block scheduling allowed.
• Must work every other weekend and designated holidays.
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital.

This position is ideal for experienced Labor and Delivery RNs with required certifications and EPIC experience, comfortable with floating and working in a fast-paced environment.
