Job Opportunity: RN Infusion Oncology
Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Schedule

- Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- May include variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and/or on-call hours
Job Description
- Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care in a clinical setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members using the nursing process and critical thinking
- Perform patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards and state laws
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
- Develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families at appropriate levels of understanding
- Participate in department/unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments as needed
- Manage complex patient safety situations and delegate tasks appropriately
- Engage in continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based practice guideline updates
- Support and participate in peer review and feedback opportunities
- For clinic and ambulatory settings, maintain timely patient flow and perform telephone triage
