CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Boise, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans at a main campus facility. The role involves working with multiple scanners and performing a variety of imaging studies including pediatrics, cardiac scans, and interventional procedures.
Requirements
- Certifications:
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- BLS Certification required
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required (Siemens experience preferred)
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required
- Skills:
- Good patient care skills
- Procedural experience (biopsies, drains, ablations)
- Experience with Siemens scanners preferred; Cannon experience not required
- EPIC and McKesson EMR/PACS experience preferred but not required
- Other:
- Must be able to start IVs
Work Environment & Schedule
- Shifts:
- Assigned shifts only, no blocked requests
- 10 or 12 hour shifts
- Current need: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM; Monday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Weekend & Holiday Requirements:
- Weekend shifts required as scheduled
- Holiday shifts required as needed unless otherwise agreed upon
- Call:
- Call available if agreed upon
- Supervision:
- Lead tech and supervisor present during weekday day shifts
- Support Staff:
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs); CNA available as department assistant
- Scrubs:
- Blue scrubs provided
Equipment
- Siemens Drive and Siemens Force scanners
- Cannon Prime SP scanner
- Use of EPIC and McKesson systems preferred
Typical Workload
- 3 to 40 scans/studies per 10-hour shift
- Imaging includes all body parts, pediatrics, cardiac, and procedural scans
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, comfortable working weekends and holidays, and interested in a 13-week contract in Boise, Idaho.
