Job Details

Required Qualifications
Licensure
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts (Primary Source Verification required)
- MA Conditional Licenses are NOT accepted
- Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required
Certifications
- BLS (AHA preferred)
- ACLS (AHA preferred)
Health & Immunizations
- Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually
- MMR: Documentation of vaccination or proof of immunity
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
- TB Test: Documentation of negative TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
- Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
- Hepatitis B vaccine or immunity strongly preferred
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
Background & Professional Checks
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
- National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start, updated annually
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check
- Education verification of highest level achieved
- Two recent professional references required (minimum one supervisor or above)
Testing & Documentation
- MGB Medication Exam with 80% passing score within 365 days
- Skills checklist required for submission
- Candidate submission coversheet required for submission
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state required for submission
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions
Summary
This is a long-term RN Cath Lab assignment in Boston, MA requiring a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience and at least 1 year of prior travel experience. The position involves 4 ten-hour shifts per week with a rotating day off. Candidates must hold a valid Massachusetts RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Comprehensive health screenings, immunizations, and background checks are mandatory.
