Job Opportunity: RN - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, every other weekend, holidays required
Unit: Cardiac Telemetry (24 beds)
Patient Focus: Heart Failure patients
Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
Floating: Required (may float to other units)
EMR System: Cerner
Scrub Color: Navy

Required Qualifications

License: Indiana RN license
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Telemetry/Cardiac)
Skills:
- Interpret telemetry strips
- Administer medications
- Charting assessments
- Bedside shift report
- Comfortable managing cardiac drips that are NOT titrated

Additional Requirements

Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Must attach required license and certifications with application

This position offers a block schedule with a focus on cardiac telemetry patients, particularly those with heart failure. The role requires strong telemetry interpretation skills and comfort with cardiac drips. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
