Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care (Days)
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position involves working in wound care at a Level I Trauma Center in Southern Arizona.
- The facility provides comprehensive specialty services including heart and cancer care, advanced neuroscience, and multi-organ transplant programs.
- Candidates must be ready to start on or very soon after the order start date.
- Return to Office (RTO) requests will not be approved within the first week or on holidays and cannot exceed 7 days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona.
- Minimum 2 years of wound care experience, including experience within the last year.
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience in an acute care setting.
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
- Candidates must adhere to specific background and compliance requirements.
- Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
- Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
- Payment includes a 2% payment discount fee and a 2% technology fee on all transactions.
Summary
This is a temporary RN wound care position requiring at least 2 years of wound care experience, specific certifications, and an active Arizona or Compact RN license. Candidates must be flexible with locations and shifts and meet strict compliance and documentation requirements. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
