Job Details

• Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Rotation: Standard 3–2 rotation
• Shift Requirement: Minimum 6 twelve-hour shifts per pay period
• Block Scheduling: 7 days on / 7 days off may be considered if operationally feasible
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – reopening ICU

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Mississippi
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense approved
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense approved
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – as required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as required
• Experience:

  • Minimum years of experience in specialty not explicitly stated; assume standard ICU RN experience expected (confirm with recruiter)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals

  • Proof of I9 or attestation
  • Government-issued photo ID (state-issued)

  • Residency declaration if working on a compact license
  • State license primary source verification and NURSYS verification (for RNs)
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • General competency exams as applicable

  • Two professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
