Job Summary

Seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel contract position in a school setting. This role involves providing therapy and rehabilitation services to students.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina state license for Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• Educational Services State Teaching Certificate or Credential as applicable
• Completion of SC Mandated Reporter Training (annual requirement)
• Compliance with South Carolina state-specific requirements including:

  • SC Sex Offender Registry Search
  • SC School Employee TB Form completed by a physician or NP within 1 year of hire (renewed if break in service for a full school year)
  • Annual TB Questionnaire
• Background checks including criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG within 1 year of start and updated annually
• NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP; verify if applicable)
• Fingerprinting is not required but a name-based criminal record search and National Sex Offender Registry check are mandatory

Important Notes

• Candidates may start with SC Teaching Credential pending if the application is fully submitted and internal approval is granted

• TB testing must be done at approved clinics; LabCorp and Quest do not complete the SC School Employee TB form
• Drug testing is not routinely required unless specifically requested by the client
